Petition Letter
Petition Letter: My name is Hayden, and my student is 20335852. I'm writing this petition to get access to the courses above. I have been dealing with a 2-year THC addiction, and only a weekish ago decided to attempt sobriety. The THC ruined everything for me, and now I'm attempting to change my life/mental health for the better and just feel overall happier in a program I enjoy like history (I can go more into examples, but only if it's needed due to severity). Due to the addiction, I have switched to a BA in history and just got switched into the program. While I was selecting my classes, it indicated that I had some overdue payments, which I have since paid. However, the payment doesn't register immediately. If it weren't for the hold, I would be able to enroll in these classes, so I hope you can understand the difficulty of this situation. I hope you can consider me for these classes. I have a note outlining the THC addiction from my clinical psychologist, and I can show time-stamped receipts of the payments to the school.
The note outlines my mental state during the time I was working through my addiction (which didn't get any better). Since the document contains very sensitive information, a password is required, which is 17062004. I can also obtain a more updated note from him if you find this insufficient for my petition. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Hopefully, this is enough to convince you that I'm making a difference in my life.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I used the Queen's software WHAT IF and it indicated that, for a general history program, I need 30 units. I have taken four history classes, each worth three units, meaning I only need 18 more credits to potentially graduate this year. If things change, I can always add more classes in the winter semester. The rest of the electives have been substituted with economics and other courses I have taken over the past 3 years. I hope with both departments, and I was easily able to switch in due to my past history classes, making the academic plan a lot simpler.
