Petition Letter: I hope this message finds you well. I am writing this petition to withdraw from my Math 120 and hopefully swap into Math 126. I am struggling to grasp the material despite my efforts to keep up with the lessons and assignments. Unfortunately I find myself unable to comprehend the concepts which has significantly affected my ability to keep up with course. I have attended all the lectures and tutorials, as well as seeing additional help but still feel lost. I believe that transferring into Math 126 would be much more beneficial to my academics as it applies calculus to math problems I will be dealing with in my degree and better align with my current skills and understanding.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: After much reflection on my current academic progress and my goals, I would like to be enrolled into Math 126. I believe this course will be a better fit for my current skill level and hopefully build my math skills so I can continue to take it throughout my years at Queens University.
I feel math 126 will provide the structure of content I need to improve my knowledge of calculus as it aligns more closely with my future career plans. I would like to thrive in my academics to continue to open doors for me to learn and grow and I think this course can do that. I will continue to attend tutorials for extra help and go to the open office hours to get a better understanding of the lecture.
I am confident making this switch will set me up for better success in the future and build my confidence to take harder math class moving forward.
