My name is Madison Derian, and I am writing to formally petition regarding my enrollment for the Fall 2025 term. I urgently need to be enrolled in GNDS 120 and placed in a different tutorial section if necessary, as this course is required for me to graduate. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was forced to drop DEVS 101 (Blended) after being informed by Ana Norris that, under U.S. restrictions, I cannot remain enrolled in an online/blended course. This unexpected requirement disrupted my schedule and removed a course I was relying on to complete my degree. We are already in Week 4 of the semester, and I am running out of time to secure another class. Without immediate enrollment in this course, I will be unable to fulfill my graduation requirements. I am urgently hoping to be added to your course and, if necessary, accommodated in a different tutorial section so that I can catch up and complete the work successfully. I acted promptly upon receiving this notice by adjusting my schedule and reaching out for alternatives, but my options are now extremely limited. I am respectfully requesting your support and understanding in granting this petition so I can remain on track to graduate.

Academic Plan: If this petition is granted and I am permitted to enroll in GNDS 120, I have developed a clear plan to ensure academic success. I will immediately review all course content from the first four weeks and consult with the instructor and teaching assistants to prioritize any material I need to focus on.
