Petition Letter: To whomever it may concern,

My name is Dominic, and recently I’ve been recovering from a string of mental health issues mainly surrounding anxiety and depression. I decided to enroll in math 121 to attain calculus skills I didn’t learn in my high school Pre-Calculus class, and realized too late that I was in over my head. I do not need this class for my academic plan (Applied Economics Degree). The stress and anxiety that this class is currently causing me has become too much and I cannot feasibly continue without further affecting my other classes. I understand I missed the deadline to drop, but at that stage in the class, all we had done was review and I was totally unaware at how much workload and stress was to come.
