Petition Letter: To whomever it may concern,
I would like to request permission to drop ENPH 344 after the established deadline due to extenuating medical circumstances beyond my control that significantly affected my academic performance during the term. Over the semester, I experienced a medical condition that left a substantial impact on my mental health and overall function. As a result, I struggled to complete coursework and fell behind in my studies. In ENPH 344 this resulted in missed assignments and difficulty keeping up with course material.
I believed I would be able to catch up in the course, which prevented me from withdrawing before the deadline. However following a physicians appointment they recommend I drop the course as the effects of my condition are still ongoing, with supporting medical documentation included in this petition.
