Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I am submitting this petition in order to request an extension for my course enrollment deadline given that I was unable to process my enrollment due to extenuating circumstances beyond my control.
During the week of the enrollment deadline, I was suffering medically which required hospital admission and continuous medical care. I was formally admitted to the hospital, the documentation of which has been attached to this petition. Given the severity of my condition I was medically unfit to manage any academic or administrative responsibilities during the aforementioned period. The circumstances mentioned were entirely out of my control. I just wanted to emphasize that I am fully committed and realize the significance of my academic responsibilities, however I couldn't tend to them until I was medically able to. I respectfully request permission in order to enroll in my courses beyond the official deadline without academic penalty. The temporary delays in osap funding which have now been tended to also added to it. Granting the extension will allow me to continue my academic progress.
I thank you sincerely for taking the time to consider my petition and sincerely appreciate your understanding in this matter. I am willing to provide any additional documentation or information should it be required.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: The aforementioned situation that prevented me from enrolling in courses on time was temporary and has now been resolved. My illness required only short term medical care as attested to by the medical certificates attached.I have now been able to make a full recovery and am medically sound to take over my academic responsibilities. In the case that this petition is granted I would like to complete my course enrollment immediately and retake the required course load that was originally in place for the term. I do not foresee any further health issues that may persist or interfere with my ability to succeed. With enrollment access restored I feel confident in my ability to continue to meet all my academic requirements.
