Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Hello,
I am writing to formally request a late course drop for my Fall term courses due to significant personal circumstances that severely affected my academic performance during that period.
During the Fall term, I experienced an unexpected and serious personal breakdown that had a profound impact on my mental and emotional well-being. As a result, I was unable to function at my normal academic capacity, attend classes consistently, or complete coursework to the standard I typically maintain. At the time, I was not in a position to fully recognize or address the severity of my situation, which prevented me from withdrawing from the affected courses before the official deadline.
These circumstances were temporary and did not reflect my usual commitment to my studies or my academic abilities. Since then, I have taken steps to stabilize my situation and ensure that I am better equipped to manage my academic responsibilities moving forward.
From,
Mattox Oluwa
