Queen’s University

I am writing to formally request approval for a late drop of my Fall 2025 semester at Queen's University due to a serious illness that significantly affected my ability to participate academically during the term.

Throughout the Fall 2025 semester, I experienced health complications that made it impossible for me to attend classes, submit required coursework, or seek academic assistance while the term was in progress. My condition rendered me unable to meet course expectations or manage the formal withdrawal process before the deadline.

I deeply regret the academic outcome of that semester; however, my illness severely limited my capacity to communicate, complete assignments, or advocate for myself at the time. Given these circumstances, I respectfully request that my Fall 2025 semester be approved for a late drop due to illness.

I am submitting medical documentation from my physician along with my request. Please let me know if any additional information is required to support this appeal.

I have withdrawn from studies at Queens this Winter term in order to address my illness and stabilize my health.
