Petition Letter: I am writing to respectfully request a waiver of the course enrollment deadline for the CISC 499 Undergraduate Project course. This course is not self‑enrolled, as it requires coordination with a supervisor and departmental approval.
I received permission from the School of Computing in November 2025 to enroll in this course and have been working with Dr. Lu Rongxing throughout the semester on my project. Based on this approval, I proceeded under the understanding that my enrollment would be processed.
Recently, after consulting with the Computing Academic Advisor Karen , I was informed that there may have been a SOLUS system issue that prevented my enrollment from being completed, despite having departmental authorization and actively participating in the project.
Given that I have been fully engaged in the course work under my supervisor’s guidance, I sincerely request a waiver of the enrollment deadline and approval to be added to the course in SOLUS.

Academic Plan: This is my last year of undergruadate, and I've actively work with my supervisor on this project since I got approved from department, This project itself have been mostly complete and then I noticed it was not enrolled in solus until I apply for graduation, I'm currently miss 3 credits from this course that reach my grudate requirement.
