Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I would like to drop this class due to the toll this semester has had on my mental health. I feel as though in this moment I would not be able to preform well on the final or on any of my other finals and would most likely fail the course if I were to stay in it. This course is not needed for my major and would not set me behind academically. I would face more academic repercussions if I were to keep the class over dropping it. This would significantly help me take care of myself throughout the exam semester and allow me to come back to the class in the future of my undergrad. Thank you for your time and consideration.
