Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Throughout this past summer, I struggled to cope with significant emotional problems and, at the same time, complete my academic work. My emotional difficulties are loss of interests, continuous lack of motivations and subsequent loss of confidence about myself and great elevation of anxiety. My ability to work and these difficulties began last winter. While I hoped my difficulties would resolve during the summer with counselling services I had, they did not. I lost all my motivation to work and had difficulty staying focused during the most of summer. Completing work became very even more difficult and this situation and other various personal reasons still caused me a great deal of stress. Thus, I started a new course of medication treatment and continued to see the counselor. With taking anti-depressant and seeing the counselor, it sometimes became able to get some work done; however, it was very slow and was not enough to push myself to get some work done. Once I tried, I again felt depressed and could not continue to work. Therefore, I could not finish all my essays on time, though I finished two small assignments. My professors suggested that I submit my essays by October 1st, as the deadline to submit marks for the Fall convocation is October 15th.
Therefore, I am writing this letter. Thank you so much for reading this letter.
