Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Over the course of the fall and winter semester 2025-2026, I experienced extenuating health circumstances that affected my academic performance. These circumstances are documented in my Academic Consideration profile. Unfortunately, I do not currently have access to the supporting forms, but they have been previously submitted and should be on record with the university. Despite my efforts to keep up with the course, these challenges impacted my ability to perform to my usual standard, and I ultimately received a final grade of C. As this course counts toward my major, I am concerned about the impact this grade may have on my academic progression. Given the documented nature of my circumstances, I am requesting that my final grade be converted to a CR. I believe this would more fairly reflect my situation during the term while allowing me to continue progressing in my program. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
