Petition Letter: Dear Academic Petitions Committee,
I am respectfully requesting permission to add PHGY 216 to my summer term schedule past the academic deadline. Unfortunately, I did not pass the course in my previous attempt, and retaking it is essential to fulfill my program requirements. I attempted to register before the May 3rd add deadline, but SOLUS did not allow me to enroll because my grade had not yet been posted and the system recognized it as a repeat. I have since contacted Dr. Ward, the course instructor, and have received his approval to support this petition. I am committed to approaching the course with renewed focus and preparation to ensure success this time. I kindly ask for your consideration in granting this petition so I may continue progressing in my program.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I plan to retake PHGY 216 with a stronger focus on structured study and balance. I will set aside consistent weekly study blocks, attend office hours regularly, and use peer support for accountability. At the same time, I will maintain healthy routines with sleep, exercise, and stress management to ensure I can stay focused and succeed. Most importantly, if possible, I will attend virtual office hours and will seek guidance immediately when needed.
