Petition Letter: Petition to add a class after the deadline.

I am writing to respectfully request permission to enroll in IDIS 173: The History and Philosophy of Health and Healthcare after the enrollment deadline.

Unfortunately, I experienced significant issues accessing my Queen’s account due to problems with Microsoft Authenticator and account verification. Because of this, I was unable to successfully access SOLUS and complete my course enrollment before the deadline. The issue prevented me from verifying my identity and signing into the necessary university systems until recently, after the deadline had already passed.

As soon as the issue was resolved, I immediately took steps to address my course enrollment and contacted the course instructor regarding permission to join the course. I have received approval from the instructor to be added to IDIS 173 and have attached proof of this approval along with supporting documentation related to the account/authenticator issue.

I am very interested in taking this course and believe it would strongly support my academic goals and overall progress in my degree. Missing the deadline was not intentional, and I made every effort to resolve the technical issue as quickly as possible.
