Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Academic Plan: If my petition is granted, I plan to prioritize PHGY 216 throughout the summer term to ensure I achieve a stronger academic outcome. Since I have already previously completed the course, I am familiar with the course structure and expectations, which will allow me to focus more effectively on the areas where I struggled previously.

To support my success, I will maintain a consistent study schedule, review lecture material regularly, and begin preparing for evaluations well in advance. I also plan to make greater use of academic resources available to me, including office hours, course supports, and additional practice material.

Because I only received my final grade two days ago, I was unable to determine before the add deadline that retaking the course would be necessary. Now that I am aware of the situation, I am taking immediate steps to address it and improve my academic standing.

Retaking PHGY 216 this summer is an important part of my academic plan, and I am committed to putting in the effort required to succeed in the course.
