Petition Letter: It is coming up in the one year anniversary of my dad's suicide and I am having difficulty focusing. One course in particular (HLTH 315) is causing a lot of problems due to many assignments and the nature of the work. So I can maintain a full course load I wish to switch into GEOL 106. It has fewer assignments and I have a close friend in the course to help me through it. No core assignments for the class have occurred. As I was on a wait list for HLTH 315 for 1 1/2 weeks I did not have time to reach this conclusion until now. Nor had I realized the extent of my issues regarding my fathers death in terms of how it impacts my performance.

Academic Plan: I have met with my UG coordinator. We reviewed my degree audit form and have mapped courses required to graduate by spring 2017.
