Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: When I looked at my OSAP Summary for funds, I saw numbers well under the estimation (Estimations: 13 000 - 15 000, Summary page: 0 - 3000). I did a quick search on the OSAP website to look for answers. The OSAP website stated 2-3 back-to-back terms at the same school, same program 1 application. On top of this I asked a close friend from Ryserson, which also told me he only had to submit one application. I mistook the 1 application to be one for the whole school program. I thought that re-applying to OSAP was a mistake I've been making, and was somehow linked to the numbers I Saw on the OSAP Summary page.
Due to an outstanding balance, I could not enroll to classes during enrollment time, and was forced to enroll during open enrollment (August 25th) after borrowing money. Since CISC 365 had 2 labs conflicting with another single course, and only one non-conflicting lab that was full, I chose to wait on the waiting list. I assumed that, as I did in the first year, someone made a mistake in enrolling and that the space would open. When it was one week prior to school (September 7th) I was getting desperate and asked Irene for help, but with no response. I then received an email that told me about my new outstanding balance and my new restriction to enrollment. I asked the registrar about this problem (September 13th), and they informed me that I was not applied to OSAP (September 17th), which would otherwise allow me to register for the course. Several emails went back and forth, which resulted in an OSAP submission and an appeal for registration with a debt. I sent the email on the 23rd of September but did not receive a response, which I then resorted into visiting the registrar after a week of waiting (October 1st). I was informed that my OSAP went through on the 24th of September, but there was no message that told me otherwise. I then was told to email my program faculty, which I assumed was Irene. She told me today (October 5th) to then send this appeal.
