Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: The course I am appealing to drop is the Online STAT 263 summer course. I have yet to write the exam. During the exam period I developed an infection in my mouth and had to pull teeth, so I had my exam deferred. The exam was suppose to take place at Queens in September but I couldn't make it to kingston on the given date. Instead of drafting a new date Mr. Chuck Molson and I concluded that it would make more sense for me to drop the course and take it again next year. Mr. Molson offered to write in support of my appeal. As I have been required to withdrawal for a year, I would much rather take this introductory level course next September so that the information is fresh in my mind before returning to my studies in 2016.
