Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean
I am appealing to drop GRMN 101 after the academic deadline. I was feeling supper stressful during the midterm period, and was super busy working on my school works. I was stressful and face to some psychological challenge in that time, I did't do well in my GRMN 101's midterm. i was asking my instructor to move part of percentage to final or doing make up exam, and she need ask Chair and has meeting with others instructors before she give me the final decision, this take little bit time, and I missed the deadline for dropping courses. Also, I find the timeline for my final is kind tight, since English is my second language, I usually need more time on review study, i wanna do well for my courses, and i think if i can have less courses, i will have more time to study on my sociology courses for final.
