Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am appealing my POLS211 grade and asking for a reread of the final exam. I already felt that there was an issue with the grading of my exam, and when I asked Professor Bastedo to do a reread, she was rude towards me, and also gave me stylistic suggestions for my exam, as opposed to criticism of the actual content of my writing. I recently appealed my POLS212 grade, which is also taught by Professor Bastedo, and the regrade was higher, and therefore I would also like to my POLS211 exam to to be read over to ensure that the grading was accurate. I will also attach the lecture notes and reading notes to this appeal. I completed all readings, and had a good understanding of the material, so I am unsure why the grade is so low. The grader left no comments on the exam, so I am not able to provide any responses to them.
