Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I would like to apply for an appeal for a late drop of the CHEM 223 course. My reasoning for this appeal is that the only lecture assessment, which was the midterm, took place the Thursday evening before the Friday course drop deadline and I therefore did not know my standing in the course until just recently. The only marks available to me were a few laboratory experiment marks and I don¿¿t believe they are accurate in representing how well a student is doing in the lecture portion of the course. My professor, Anne Petitjean has agreed to support this appeal as well.
