Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

New Information: Dear Faculty of Arts and Sciences Appeals Office,

My reasoning for the lateness of my academic appeal submission lies in a technical issue I had at the time of paying for the appeal fee, thereby making it impossible for me to pay for the submission until the issue was resolved. Just minutes before midnight I had finally resolved the issue with the payment not going through and unfortunately was finally able to submit my appeal letter just minutes after midnight.

Furthermore, while it can be argued that I had all of this time up until June 16th to pay for and submit my academic appeal letter, I must also note that it was not to my knowledge until June 16th when Gail McAllister, University Secretariat, made it be known that I can submit my appeal letter without the supporting documentation to then submit the documentation at a later date when received. I had held off on submitting my appeal letter until June 16th as just that morning, I had called my doctor's office and received note that he had not read over and signed on the supporting documentation just yet.

It is with this information that I request to be allowed once more to submit my appeal letter for further review, as I had worked within all of my possibilities to submit the appeal letter on the date requested.
