Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Dear sir/ madam
During the fall/ winter term I took part in Math 121 which I completed but with a substantially lower grade than what I should have achieved. During these two terms I was engaged in work up training followed by a deployment to Kuwait. I believed that I would have had adequate time and resources to complete this course successfully but I did not. Knowing what I know now I would not have taken such a demanding course given the strenuous nature of my work life. I believe without a doubt that I can achieve a higher GPA and eventually, the successful completion of a degree. I hope an exception can be made given the circumstances and that I will be able to complete my education at Queens University. I have made many mistakes on the path to higher learning and my hope is that this is just another bump in the road and not a dead end. This incident has really put things in perspective for me and I would not wish to tarnish the reputation of your institution by have unacceptable academics grades.
For you consideration
Alexander Landry.
