Petition Letter: To whom this may concern,

I recently dropped my STAT 263 course before the academic deadline, but in the process of dropping, an error was presented. It still shows that I'm in the course. When I dropped the course, it gave me an error message saying that I don't have the authorization to drop the course. After receiving this error, I attempted to drop the course a couple more times and still ran into the same error.

I would like to inquire about this error and to receive assistance in dropping the course without academic penalty.
