Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am writing to appeal as I have had ongoing health reasons as indicated by an attached doctors note. I struggled to attend class and complete assignments as I was travelling back and forth to Toronto to receive ongoing care and adapt to new treatments. I have been working with my professors in order to complete my semester and have had conversations with Queen's councilors at the DSO/SASS. There is a large element of group work for the POLS 384 class and during the semester I focused on completing the group work so I could keep my commitment to my classmates and to show my professors I was willing to engage with course material. I am applying for an AG standing as I believe that I have proved to myself and my professors that I understand the material.
