Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am appealing to drop this summer course as I was unable to complete the assignments due to psychological challenges that I faced throughout the summer. I can provide you with back up documents from my health care professionals if necessary. I took two summer courses this year to replace my Psych course - I was able to complete the first one (French) successfully, but had a set back in the beginning of July which caused me to neglect my course work in my Anatomy course at which point I got so far behind that I spiraled into a familiar pattern of anxiety/depression. I am being treated for these ailments and look forward to returning to Queens and achieving success in my 2nd year.
