Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean of Studies,
This letter is in regards to waving off the twenty-one-day deadline when handing in my appeal.
The troubles I faced during the 2014-2015 year were physically, emotionally and mentally tough for me, but I am writing this letter with confidence, resilience and with a new attitude towards my life ambitions. During 2014-2015, I dealt with medical issues such as vertigo, the flu and suffered a tragic loss of a family member, my grandfather. During that period, I looked for help from a therapist that could help me overcome all the challenges I was facing and how I could change my view on loss, gain my confidence , self-esteem and find myself within all the chaos going on around me. These challenges did affect my learning drastically; because without a goal, determination, a support system and a healthy attitude, I would not be able to strive for the best within myself as well as create a healthy and inspiring life for others.
If you could please consider waving off the twenty-one-day deadline on my appeal, it would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Hadass Wolpin
