Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I¿¿m writing to appeal for a late drop for my CISC 260 course. It was around this time last year that I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and it has greatly affected my work. I have had ongoing discussions with my professor in this course, Prof Margaret Lamb, and she has expressed to me that the late drop is my best course of action. I was in one of her other classes the semester prior where I had similar issues with a late drop. Due to our extensive talks over the course of two semesters I believe she said it would be alright to use past notes that detailed my diagnosis for this situation. One of the notes has a typo (says Fall 20016 instead of Fall 2015) but both Prof Lamb and I are both aware of it and recognize it was just a mistake so hopefully that is not a problem. My mental health is still a struggle that I am battling with, but I just want to get better and finish my degree.
Thank you,
Baiden McCallum 10109674
