Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello, my name is Jack Porter and I am a third year economics major. In second year I received a D+ unfortunately in STATS 263. For my major I need a C in the course in order to take ECON 351. When course registration came in the summer Solus would not allow me to enter the course since I already had the credit in it. I understand it is past the deadline to switch courses around but I was hoping you could override this and put me into a class this semester so I can take ECON 351 2nd semester this year. I have been going to lectures Tuesdays and Friday mornings this semester with my house mate who is also in the course right now. I am not worried about making up the work I missed since I have been attending classes and still have the knowledge I obtained from last year when I took the course. There are weekly quizzez that are worth 1 each that I have missed out on but assuming I get into the course I will discuss that issue with Professor Molson. I have already been in contact with Professor Molson multiple times about getting into his class this semester and he hopes that I do end being able to get in Thank you and I apologize for the inconvenience.
