Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern,
During the previous semester, I took Psychology 100. During this semester I had become overwhelmed and unable to focus on my studies fully. I worked full time during the day, in which my job took a lot out of me mentally therefore not allowing me to put forth focus and concentration towards my schooling. My aunt was also diagnosed with an incurable lung caner. This diagnosis was very hard for her and for the family. Many hours were dedicated to medical appointments and ensuring she was okay after her chemo and radiation treatments. During this time, I was on medication to help with anxiety and lack of sleep. As I tried to not allow these situations to affect my education it did. I know that my current mark for this class is not my best and I am capable of putting forth better effort, thus able to receive a passing grade.
