Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to explain why I am appealing to drop my fall semester courses. Approximately 6 weeks ago I started to feel sick. I had difficulty dealing with my illness and within 2 weeks I needed to return home to recuperate. I was at home for 4 weeks and I missed an immense amount of schoolwork as a result. I returned at the beginning of week 9 in an attempt to finish the school year but I have been overwhelmed and feel that I cannot finish the semester while reaching my potential. I would like to take more time to fully recover from my illness so that I can come back to Queen¿¿s next year in full form and finish my degree strong.
