I am writing this letter in order to appeal for dropping the course ECON 320 fall 2016. The instructor is Beverly Lapham (laphamb@econ.quensu.ca).
Honestly, i do not think I have a lot of personal reasons to state here, it is just me not performing well on the Midterm Exam. When I saw my Midterm Exam grades like that, I was extremely shocked because I certainly did not expect to see such terrible grades. As you can see from my Midterm paper, I only got 34/100, and the average is around 74 I remember. i did not expect to get such grades because I am sure that I did devote time to learn Macroeconomics and I did carefully re-do every single assignment questions before the exam. In addition, I did try my best to complete the exam (as you can see, I tried hard to solve each single question, so I did not waste time during the exam). Therefore, the result i received really hurts me quite a bit.
So, I sincerely wish I can be given a chance to have this course dropped at this point, so I am able to focus more on my other courses for the rest of the term.
