Petition Letter
Petition Letter: The extenuating circumstances that prevented me from adding this course prior to the due date had nothing to do with personal circumstances. It was a matter of the time that it took for my supervisor to complete the directed lab application form that must be submitted to the chair of undergraduate studies in psychology before I am able to add the course to my timetable via solus. I was not given this directed lab application sheet until Monday January 23rd, three days after the deadline had already past and therefore was not able to successfully enrol in the course prior to the deadline.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: In order to make up the time that I have already missed during the first two weeks of class I will increase the number of hours I dedicate to this course from 10 hours a week to 12 hours a week for the subsequent 10 weeks to ensure that I complete the necessary 120 hours during the semester. This should not be a problem due to the self-paced nature of this course, by the end of the term I will have completed the necessary time commitment as well as any ¿¿assignments¿ I may be given. As well, since this course is self directed I will not be requiring any kind of special treatment from the instructor in order to catch up on material or assignments.
