Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
Hello, my name is Stella Moon and I am appealing to drop CLST 201 History of Rome. The reason being is that although it is part of my major, I don't believe I will do as well as I expect to do if I redid it the following year. Of course, I will be taking it next year, as it is part of my major, however, this semester the courses I am taking are quite content heavy. I have been feeling quite overwhelmed and it did not help with the fact that the second midterm of this class was lump summed into a week filled with 3 different assignments and 2 other midterms. For that being, I have yet to get the mark for it, however I know for a fact that I did not do as well as I hoped. Please consider this appeal, I really want to do well in this class, but at this point it seems nearly impossible and don't want it affecting my overall gpa.
Thanks for taking the time to read this appeal It is very much appreciated.
