Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Dear Asc. Dean,

I am completing this appeal in regards to entering in the Distance Studies course CHEM 281 for the summer term. I missed the date given to apply because I was researching and applying for different ways to fund this course for the month of May and June. I was waiting for response from my local bank, employment opportunities and family members. This need for funding came as quite a shock given that my father was just recently let go from his place of employment. This is precisely why I did not enrol without confirmation that I would be able to fund this course.

Thank you for your consideration,

Taylore Dodd

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: Taking this course is actually an essential part of my academic plan, given that I am interested in taking it in order to receive a better grade. I had trouble balancing all my courses throughout the year and believe that I did not deliver to the best of my abilities in this course and know that I can do much better. This is essential to my academic plan because I am in pursuit of completing my Life Sciences Specialization and would like to have a GPA and persona surrounding me which reflects my best abilities. After I have received my Life Sciences Honours degree, I am looking into receiving my DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree and again, when applying to complete these degrees I would like to present myself as my personal best and be able to represent Queen's University to the most respectable of ways.
