Petition Letter: Hello¿
I am writing this letter to you to appeal for withdrawal for three years. Due to physical reasons, my previous two years¿¿ academic performance has declined. I am also very anxious. I have recovered after more than a year¿¿s treatment. Now, I am trying my best to study during this summer to improve previous grades so as to catch up with others as soon as possible. This summer, I have retake two courses in which I had poor grades before in a bid to improve my overall GPA. I believe I can do a good job in the next term, and I hope I can be understood and get a chance to continue to study in September 2017.
Academic plan
I am in a statistic general plan, and I plan to switch to econ general plan. I have taken 36.0 units of all the requirements of econ general plan. Now I have taken 81 units for a total of 90 units. In this summer I retake two econ courses. So far the grades of econ assignments and quizzes are A. In the following study plan, I will spend more time in these courses. In the next term, I will retake some courses of poor grades to improve my GPA.
Strategies for Success
In order to increase GPA, I plan to retake the courses for which I got relatively low scores. Subsequently, I will spend more time than before on those courses, do more exercises related to those courses and figure out questions that I have not completely understood previously. Now I spend at least five hours on those courses to review what I learn everyday. In addition, after finishing homework, I also read the latest econ news and comments written by commentators. I make analysis by imitating those comments, so as to improve my writing skills and expression ability.
Through careful consideration, I think econ general plan is more suitable for me. I have already completed all required courses of econ general plan. I will finish the entire 90 units after completing this summer session. In the next semester, I hope I can retake the courses for which I got relatively low scores, so that I could increase my total GPA and achieve the standard of graduation.
Thank you
