Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean (studies),
I received a letter for a one-year withdraw at the end of May. I was debating so much about whether to keep my four summer courses or not. As told by an academic advisor, I could be finishing these courses with good grades and graduate with a general degree in the Fall. However, I would not be able to return to school in September anyway. As said in my study plan, I am hoping to have a BSH degree when I leave Queen's, if possible. Last week, I dropped my three May-July courses; however, I was not able to drop CSIC101 because it is a May-June course. I constantly debating if I should appeal to late drop this course, because my previous appeal is still under review, and if I were to keep this course, I cannot return back to school till Sept.2018. As said in my plan, I am intending to graduate and work since I am not in a good position of my life, unfortunately. I have lots to deal with but I am putting school back to priority.
Sincerely,
Niki Ziqing Cai
