Petition Letter: When I was applying for a Letter of Permission for Econ 321 at Athabasca I accidentally selected the wrong term for the start date of the course. I selected the winter 2014 term for this course because most of the course took place during winter of 2014. The course started December 1st which is in the Fall 2013 semester but I did not realize that. I did not know that it would be considered a fall course because our semester was nearly over so I selected winter. When I asked someone in the office (where I filled out the application) to help me they did not notice I selected winter so I assumed everything was fine with the application. It would be much appreciated if I could receive a retroactive Letter of Permission because this course is one of my Econ options and I need it to graduate.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I will be much more careful when I fill out further letters of permission and other documents. I will make sure all the information is correct to avoid any issues happening in the future. When I fill out my new letter of permission I will make sure all the information is correct so that this course can be counted as a credit towards my diploma. I am currently enrolled in another course with Athabasca and I checked with Ms. McBride to make sure all the information is accurate so this will not happen again.
