Petition Letter

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

My name is Menakah Yoharaja and I am writing an appeal for a distant summer course, Math121, that I took during the summer of 2013. During that time I was home and going through a lot of family problems. I did not have another place to stay where I could support myself (food, water etc). As a result, I was not able to attain a high average. I had spoken to my counselor when I returned and she had written a letter asking for an appeal, which is on file at the Art/Sci Office in Dunning. I had been told that I didn¿¿t need to do anything further to ensure the appeal went through, however when I checked Solus I had realized that Math121 had not been dropped.

After my visit to the counselor I had joined a few programs to better my study habits in difficult situations. As a result, I had done better throughout the academic year.

I hope that I have answered all questions for an appeal, please feel free to email me if there is anything else missing.

Sincerely,
Menakah

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I'm writing a late appeal to drop the course MATH 121. I had taken it in the summer and did not do well do to the fact that I was at home , and dealing with family problems. At that time,I had no other place to go where I could support myself (with food and a home) until the course was done. I had spoken to a social worker and she had written an appeal on my behalf (the document is on file), but I didn't know that I had to submit an online appeal. Only recently did I notice that MATH 121 was still affecting my GPA.
If you have any more questions, please feel to contact me via email.

Thanks,
Menakah
