New Information: To whom it may concern:
It has come to my attention that the limit for submitting my Academic Appeal has passed. Upon receiving this information, the Appeals Office mentioned that if I had circumstances preventing me from submitting an Appeal before the deadline to apply for this exemption.
When I first became aware of my situation, I was unsure how to proceed and began to look into the appeals process for the CHEM223 course. It was not until I met with my physician right before leaving for school in August and discussed this option, that they encouraged me to pursue this option. I believe that in the letter they sent, my physician noted that we met on August 25th. Two days following this, I returned to Queen's I assumed my job at the Arts and Science Undergraduate Society and have been managing this job and classes since that date. It was an immense oversight on my part to miss this deadline, but I hope that my appeal is able to go through the process given the date I was able to schedule and appointment with my physician.
I have never gone through this process before, so I apologize for my late submission.
