Petition Letter: Dear Dr. Johanne Bénard
My name is Mikayla Mowat, I am a second year life science student and I am appealing to add Pharmacology 100 after the deadline by 2 days. I was unable to add this course in time as my family was unwilling to pay for an online course and did not view it as a good use of money. I have been trying to convince them since course selection as I am very interested in Pharmacology and the introductory course is only available online. I have just been able to make enough money from doing odd jobs as of yesterday and because of my willingness to pay for this course my parents have become more supportive of the idea. I am willing to put in a lot of extra effort to catch up in this course. I know that the first assignment is not due until Friday the 29th so currently I have not missed anything for marks. I have a 3.82 GPA and since I am passionate about pharmacology, I know I can do well even if I have to do 2 extra weeks of work. I have emailed professor William Racz and he gave me his permission to enrol.
I really appreciate your consideration on this matter and really hope I will be able to take Pharm 100

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I am willing to put in 3 hours everyday to catch up with the content in the first 2 weeks of Pharmacology 100. This is an online course so all the information will still be available to me online and I will work hard to make sure I am up to speed. My housemate is in Pharm 100 currently and she will be a useful tool if I have any questions or concerns about the details I have missed. I am really hoping to enrol in this course and I am determined to do well
