To Whom it may concern,
I am currently a Bmus student in third year at Queens. Part of my degrees requirements is that I take 6 units of ensemble credits which is usually done 1.5 credits per year over 4 years. In first year I took Wind Ensemble MUSC 178 and passed the class. However, in second year I was accidentally enrolled in MUSC 178 again instead of MUSC 278 the second year equivalent. Usually this band class is automatically added after the audition process and I never noticed that I was in 178 instead of 278. Dr. Lind just made me aware of this earlier this week and asked me to file an appeal letter. She said that she could provide an email stating that I should have been in MUSC 278 last year and that I did fulfill all of the requirements to get that credit. Thank you for your time and consideration.
