Petition Letter: To whom may concern,
I'm a second year DEVS major student (10184728). I would like to make an appeal to drop a 3 units course (DEVS230) which is the core course of DEVS major.
The first reason I want to drop it is I didn't do well in this course. I took a hard time to finish my midterm essay. It took me 4 days and I even hadn't slept for 2 nights in order to finish it. However I only got 55¿ on midterm. When I know my grade it has already been November 15th. That's why I miss the deadline to drop this course. I talked with TA several times but whatever I did I couldn't make it better. I don't have any knowledge about finance and economy,and I think this course might not be suitable for me.The final exam must be harder than midterm and it will influence mu GPA heavily. I feel so upset and I cannot hold it anymore.
The second reason I want to drop it is I'm going to switch my major Devs to Psyc and Musc Medial. As I said I had a hard time to learn Devs 230, and I need to focus more on the Psyc and Musc course. I don't want to preqpare for Devs230 final exam because it will takes a long time. It's a kind of wasting time to study for a course that I won't major it anymore.
