Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am writing to appeal my grade of F(0) on the, Final Assignment Pt 2 (Group Component), for HIST-263. I submitted the assignment well before the 11:59, December 5, 2017 deadline with all parts of the project within the enclosed document. For whatever reason, the person marking my assignment seemed to have missed my submission entirely and I was given a 0/100 without any explanation. I attempted to contact Dr. Cookson-Hill on December 29 to inquire about my F(0) grade on the assignment, but did not received a response. OnQ then updated the final mark to a 0/100 on December 30, and today (January 4) was the first day I logged into OnQ and saw this. I would like for the marker of the assignment to review my submission, and see that I had actually submitted it, as I guess somehow the document was lost in cyberspace. I have the confirmation email from OnQ as well as a screenshot of the upload status on OnQ that will be included within this appeal. Academics are very important to me, and I hope to receive the credit I am due for this assignment, and to rectify the B+ that is on SOLUS for my HIST-263 final grade, as I know that with this assignment correctly graded I deserve a higher final mark.
