Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Hello,
I am writing this with the hope of having my final exam regraded.
I've received a 81.7 on the final exam granting me a final course mark of 88.92. The final exam mark I received was significantly lower than the 90 + average I had going into the exam.
Having been a TA myself, I know that marking exams can be very cumbersome at times and oversights can be made. I would like to have the exam rechecked by the professor to ensure that no such oversights were made.
This is important to me as a very small change in final exam mark from 81.7 to 83.5 (basically 1 exam mark) could make a large difference in my final course grade (A vs A+) and ultimately GPA.
I pride myself on my academics and am looking to apply to grad school in the future. Great performance on fundamental courses like this matter.
Thank you,
Ionut Craciun
