Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am here making an appeal today because I attempted to change the tutorial time of the second part of a full year class I had next semester. I did this days after the deadline to add/drop courses because I thought that changing the tutorial time would be exempt from that category. I am a first year who is not very familiar with SOLUS, and as a result, SOLUS dropped my course, and tutorial time. I have attended every lecture, and am supposed to submit one of my first assignments for my tutorial, however until this issue is resolved my marks will dwindle the longer I am not able to attend my lectures and tutorials. I ask today sincerely to please help me resolve this issue, as it was my mistake for not properly consulting the instructions given with the registration guideline. Although this mistake occurred on my part, I would be very thankful if I were able to attend lectures and tutorials for this course.
