Petition Letter
Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I am requesting to be added to (as an auditor) to HIST 214 Mythology of the Ancient Near East.
My extensive head trauma is making classes that do not have full comprehensive lectures, course syllabus and access to the prof with smaller classes near impossible to be successful in. The all computer approach with all online references and no lectures or syllabus will not work for me unfortunately.
I have made new arrangements regarding continuing studies with Dean King and the accommodations unit in conjunction with the school psychiatrist Dr McNevin that will facilitate my vocational rehab which is paid for through my veteran's insurance sponsorship (sisip financial / Manulife).
Part of the plan is to audit a class this semester and for the summer session.
If there are any questions regarding my file please direct them to my academic advisor Kathryn Morrissy and or to Assistant Dean Beverly King. I did not do anything arbitrarily and am greatful for the help and guidance I have received.
Thank you for your help and commiseration. I am doing the best I can and will not give up.
Sincerely,
-Michael Julian Szczurko.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: To whom it may concern,
My academic plan is simple.
I am a military veteran at Queen's University as part of my vocational rehab program due to my honorable medical discharge from the Army because of my extensive injuries.
My academic plan is as such; to take courses one at a time, auditing them at first while I continue with my various injuries rehabs. Once progress has been made regarding my learning skills (I am acquiring new ones at middle age) that will help me compensate with the loss of IQ (caused by severe concussion syndrome) and I overcome some of the challenges presented by my severe PTSD that are getting in the way of learning I will then take courses one at a time for grades until I can graduate.
So far I have completed 2 years of my 3 year general humanities degree.
Thank you for you for your commiseration and help.
I am doing my best and will not give up.
Sincerely,
Michael Julian Szczurko.
