I am writing to you with regards to one of my courses this semester. It has been brought to my attention that I have passed the deadline to drop a course for the winter semester.
This academic year has been a tough one for me with regards to my health problems. I have chronic esophageal candidiasis which is an infection of my immune system and gastrointestinal tract. The difference this year is that it has moved into other areas in my gastrointestinal tract causing nausea, vomiting, dizziness, extreme fatigue, and problems concentrating - to name a few. Normally I can catch up quite well but this year I have been having a difficult time and I really cannot afford to fail another course. I was enjoying my course very much and hope to be able to take it in the fall or summer semester but as of now, I need to just focus on ANAT 316 and HLTH 331.
I have contacted my doctor in Toronto to email me a letter of reference to give a brief history of the past 6 months and will send these as soon as possible. I can also provide a copy of my accommodation letter from Student Wellness Services.
