Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Since the beginning of the semester I have been feeling quite off, I wasn't concentrating on my school work and was falling behind in one of my classes. In February I made a decision to see a counsellor through Queen's and they were not able to book me an appointment until March 1st. At my appointment the counsellor recommend that I see a doctor, so I went to book a doctors appointment at La Salle's, the earliest appointment I could get was on March 21st. The doctor prescribed me with anti-depressants because of the symptoms I presented with. I believe that me falling behind in my Linear Algebra (Math 112) class is due to the fact that I was struggling with depression all semester but didn't know about it until very recently, so I would like to drop that class as it is not very likely that I will pass it at this point.
