Petition Letter: To whom this may concern:
Unfortunately I am making the request to drop SOCY211 after the deadline. This semester took a turn for the worse for myself, I faced some unexpected housemate drama. My housemates at the time told me to move out because I did not enjoy the same pass times as they did. When I said no they became hostile and aggressive. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, having to go home for several periods of time I was unable to give SOCY211 the attention it required. As the circumstances were created unexpectedly and were out fo my control I was hoping I could be considered to have this course be dropped. I will request documentation from the TA and have that to follow shortly. It was by her guidance that I am reaching out with an appeal.
